Knowing what you need and what you have not achieved are the key steps to successful weight loss and successful snoring cures. Keeping a food diary will help you eat healthy while losing weight at the same time. If you really want to eat healthy food, you may want to look into learning how to cook healthy food. Attending a culinary arts cooking school and taking a course or two on healthy cooking may be beneficial.

How to keep a food diary

To keep a food diary, write down as close as possible:

  • what you eat each day,
  • the portion size,
  • the calorie and
  • the fat counts

As you go through the day, calculate the calories of your diet. If your calorie intake is over the suggested limits, make adjustments to your diet the next day. You can keep adjusting your food intake until you have reached the ideal calories intake for your desired weight. Keep your food diary as accurately as you can. Your food diary will serve as a motivator for you to stick with your weight loss plan and keep your goals in sight.
