deprivation

is needing coffee. If you need coffee too often
and if whenever you wake up, you need coffee or
caffeine the first thing in the morning, then it is a
sign of sleep deprivation. A healthy person with enough sleep
can function and stay awake without coffee. This is an early
sign of sleep deprivation. If this happens everyday, then you
may need to change your lifestyle or routine or your health
will deteriorate.
Feeling sleepy or
fatigued = sign of sleep deprivation
A healthy person will rarely feel
sleepy or fatigued. If you feel sleepy or fatigued often, then
something is wrong. These are either signs of sleep deprivation
or something worse. You need to get some sleep or consult a
medical professional.

suffering from sleep deprivation. If you fall asleep as soon as
your head hits the pillow, then you should recognize this as a
sign of sleep deprivation.
